Casa Esperança

In a context in which it was not allowed to change the exterior appearance of the building, we had chosen to take advantage of the qualities of the exterior space to make it an extension of the building; with a barbecue area, an outdoor lounge and a relaxation area with hammocks.
In the interior a total transformation was realized, redistributing the spaces in a more diaphanous and comfortable way, obtaining spaces more luminous and connected with the outside.
With the same intervention, we transformed this old building in a modern sustainable house. It incorporated a solar water heater and a water reuse system that reduces water consumption by 35%. In addition, the entire building was covered with a layer of thermal insulation and a natural system was added to protect the building from moisture.
